Transformative Depth Psychotherapy for Lasting Change
Encounter your inner world to find a new perspective on life.
Do any of these statements sound like you?
Most of the time, I don’t know how I feel
I live between cultures and don’t feel a sense of ‘home’
I keep repeating the same mistakes in my relationship
Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by my emotions and I don’t know why
Life feels heavy and exhausting
I feel directionless in life
If so, depth therapy can help.

The Deep Work of Therapy
In therapy, we’re navigating our internal waters. The therapy space is like salt water. Salt helps us float, creating a feeling of being held and safe in the currents.
The depths of the water are our unconscious. We dive deep to recover pieces of ourselves that have been lost. We lose parts of ourselves as an adaptive response to trauma.
Then, we return to the surface. We take a deep breath and do some integration work. How does what we found change your story of who you are?
Diving and returning, over and over is a profound experience, one that can truly lead to change.
Hi, I’m Yağmur.
I’m a licensed therapist (LMFT #144813) who works with couples and individuals. I offer virtual therapy sessions to residents of California.
I help people detangle their inner world, surface unconscious patterns that are hurting them and discover higher self esteem and agency! I’m a warm and interactive therapist who guides people to connect to their inner wisdom, strength and power.
I believe that sitting with pain is transformative. Grieving the loss of what we weren’t given is challenging, but it offers us a new perspective of life, one that leads to more fulfillment.
My Approach
Below are the approaches I have been extensively trained in. If you have any questions about these approaches, please reach out to inquire further.
Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
I offer my patients a deep understanding of themselves by integrating the not-so-conscious parts of them into the conscious. This may look like free association, dreamwork and looking for patterns.
Liberation Framework
I’m specifically attuned to cultural nuances and pay attention to how the social can impact the individual’s psychology. Together, we’ll look closely at how different layers of your identity impact you.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
In my work with couples, I help identify cycles and patterns. We’ll trace these patterns to attachment needs and styles of your past in order to create more emotional intimacy.

Benefits of Therapy
Therapy requires commitment. I work with clients weekly. Some sessions are like a drop in the bucket, something small and immeasurable occurs. Other sessions feel like an outpouring, something big (like a breakthrough) may occur. With consistency and commitment, we are building towards fullness.
Heal Trauma: Break free of the past. Unlock emotional growth and inner resilience by addressing and letting go of past pains.
Break Unhelpful Patterns: Unconscious patterns lead to anxiety, depression, conflict and more. We’ll discover and identify your patterns that aren’t serving you.
Healthier Relationships: Delve into your dynamics and build your ability to communicate your needs and boundaries with clarity and confidence.
Better Mood: Find relief from the gray cloud that follows you around. Understanding the root of your mood and emotions help pave the wave for more positivity.
More Resilience: Day-to-day stressors are unavoidable. You’ll increase your tolerance to deal with challenging emotions so you’re more adaptable.
